Geraint Jenkins, founder and principal consultant at Brecon AI, is both a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and is ISO/IEC 42001 certified. He has over 15 years-experience in information governance, data protection, information security, data analytics and internal audit.

Working across a range of SaaS and BPO companies, Geraint has managed AI and information security processes for globally recognised brands, as well as Irish institutions such as Electric Ireland, the Road Safety Authority, the student finance body SUSI and POBAL.

Holding a BSc Hons Degree in Computer Science from University of Nottingham, Geraint was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Visualisation from University College Dublin in May 2025. This has further added to his extensive technical experience, which includes machine learning processes and big data analysis.

Geraint deploys this knowledge and expertise on behalf of clients, who benefit from his practical ability to combine complex technical details and detailed regulatory requirements, to develop and maintain highly compliant standards and systems in relation to the upcoming EU AI Governance Act.
